Do they really give away beer at your local races? I've yet to see them doing this where I'm from. 

In lower Alabama and North Florida, races have free beer more times than not.

In South Louisiana it seems like post-race beer is a requirement to have any decent size turnout. In central Alabama though, I have only seen beer at one race and even then it was very restricted.
