Gold Record..as in the award..dont think they have done away with the award..but they dont make records any more do they?..

If you mean vinyl records, then yes, they are made all the time, as are turntables and styluses (styli?)

If you mean record as in record album, then not very much - but that's a discussion on the state of the recording industry and the proliferation of singles in a digital distribution network
