I do each workout as if it is my 112 mile bike or my marathon excluding only workouts of just 45 minutes but each I stick to my plan and it works for me: Bike: Hammer Gel every 45 minutes and then drink on the 15s my drink mix which is a GU2O carbo pro combo. And of course water after the gels and throughout. Run: I run with hammer gels every 45 minutes and water. I wear a fuel belt that carries a flask and a full size water bottle. On the bike I try and consume 200-250 calories per hour and on the run I have only used about 150 calories per hour. Edited by cbost2678 2007-01-07 6:28 PM
