Trainer noise and downstairs neighbors (Page 2)

I got a sheet of foamular stuff from Home Depot (and had a fun time trying to fit it in my Element, but eventually got all the doors shut!). I put it under the trainer mat...I have a ride scheduled for tomorrow morning, since I've been trying tues/thurs morning rides to go with my afternoon swims....we'll see how it goes. I'll probably put a note under the guy's door on my way to work and see if he was bothered by the noise this time.

Left a note for my neighbor this morning...when I got home there was a note at my door. He said that he can't hear the trainer and that it was his "houseguest" who was complaining, and he apologized for the inconvenience. I guess that shows how well I know my neighbors! I'm glad I took the step and asked the guy if I was bothering him, though. Now I can ride without worrying about anything!

wow... fwiw... you get a ribbon for being a thoughtful person, let alone a thoughtful neighbor.

the woman below me screams at night. we can't figure if she's having hot sex with her boyfriend or if he chasing her around and tickling her. unfortunately, due to the loud noise that she emits every other night or so, we have come to the conclusion that it's both sex and giggling and running around and slamming doors and laughing loud at 2:00am

and this is a 40+ woman, but yet with a 20+ young man, so maybe she is not to blame, he he

in anycase, she does not care if she keeps people awake... but you do... and that makes you a great person. i would vote for you to live in my condo unit any day.

it's nice to know there are people out there who care about others... and even though your workout was potentially interrupted, you still took the time to care about others peace and sleep of others... and you did something about it...

and that makes you pretty priceless in my book
