I think DONTO just copied forward what he used last month for the Bike/Run challenge.  So the swim got left out.  Also, the spreadsheet percentages and to determine if you are on "pace" or not are based on a 28 day month, not 31.

your "fancy" Link-O-Spire will not do any good...ALL teams that are not RED are doomed to failure...

RED RULZ

Must have been a recovery week for the Red team

Sorry to burst your bubble Yellow, but due to a goal recording error on our spreadsheet...you guys will just have to step back behind Blue while we take our rightful place in the lead. Better luck next week.

Go BLUE!

Average % of Goal to 14.28% and our Team combined percentage to 7.14% after the correction of my run goal from 120km to 100km.

Well that is an easy way to win ! Just lower your goals !

That is not how we play the game, but you just lower away, and if we Finnish 2nd behind Blue, we will still be the morale victor

Hi Naners, can’t you upload the Yellow spreadsheet, it would be nice to see the other yellows goals and there progress, and check that you got all the numbers right

Ok I found an error in mine.  My run goal is 35, not 45.  I originally pledged 45 but PM'ed Donto the next day when I realized I pledged the wrong amount.  It's weird because it's fixed in the spreadsheet he posted in the thread but it's at 45 in the one posted on this thread.  Either way, it should be 35.

I look upon the goals people have out there and I think to myself.  there are some pretty impressive goals.  Way to set the bar high.  The numbers I see humble me and sometimes make me think I should be training harder/longer.

So, what is everyone training for?  How far out is your first/next race?  When is your "A" race?

Me - I am thinking my first tri of the year will be middle to end of Jun and my A race is in early November.

So, what is everyone training for?  I did my first triathlon last October - just as the season ended!  I've been chomping at the bit to get back out there.  I'm doing a mix of olympic and sprint distances this year.

How far out is your first/next race?  First race is April 22 in Charleston, SC.  Not quite an olympic distance - .6 mile swim/16 mile bike/5 mile run

When is your "A" race?  Dunno yet - I have a bunch on the calendar but haven't figured out which one is my A race.  Maybe the Chattanooga Waterfront Olympic in July?

Naners,

Does that change our percentages enough where we can go back on the "smack talk" circuit?

Please, please, pleeease say yes.

Sorry, that one is my fault. I misread Donto's message. It's fixed now, and I am reposting the newest draft (renamed). I think that I can pull the other one. I'll try to do that to avoid confusion!

Donto did the spreadsheet for all the teams this.  So, that is why the numbers are correct in the spreadsheet that was used.

So, what is everyone training for? Prison Break.....sshh, don't tell anyone. It's a secret.

How far out is your first/next race? I'll let you know once I get the keys to the all these damn doors.

When is your "A" race? See above. Then it's over the river and through the woods to Grandmothers house I go.

Sorry guys...looks like I might have jumped the gun. I guess I should have waited to see if there were any more corrections before opening my mouth.....baaaaaaaaa boy do I feel sheepish.

By the way...I'm not petty enough to lower my goal for just a few percentage points. If you go back to the original challenge post my goal is listed as 100km for the run. It was marked on our spreadsheet as 120km. That was the correction that I got fixed and it raised our score up enough to take the lead....temporarily it seems as there was another Blue team member that needed to have a correction made also which took our score in the opposite direction.

Good luck everybody.......baaaaaaa.
