Well, I telecommuted today and took a break and went to the P.O. and got gas... and drove right by a 24 Hour Fitness - with a pool - that's not a five minute drive from my house.

awwww maaaaan!

I just learned that there is consideration of making the HyVee Tri into a Du because of rain, flooding, etc -

I don't think I would even make the trip for a du - no way could I run, bike, run

keeping my fingers crossed that it is just a rumor (although it seems pretty well founded)

We could use the rain in California.

I ran @ 3:00. 16% relative humidity, 96F temp.

About 8 minutes into the run I started to think, um "Fluck, its HOT!"

Tomorrow we get NNW winds of 20-30 mph with 90F temps... which means high fire danger.

I didn't realize how close it was to my place. I see it from US 50 - the freeway - on the south side frontage road all the time.

Might print out the 7 day free pass and try it. Its cheaper than the Y, but you do have to commit to a contract.
