I called my note doctor to inquire as to what was fine about the x-ray and he said that it does not show advanced arthritis and that an MRI would be next. I think I will stick with the guy tonight and take that path since Doctor #1 is a pin head! Have a great evening! Hope you hear some good news! |

It looks like I'm stuck in class the rest of the week. The class is for a software package we use. I've used the package for years and he didn't show us a thing yesterday that I didn't already know how to do. It was quite boring. I would have much rather been in the village. I'm not sure if I'll be around over the weekend either. I'm taking my laptop with me to AZ, but I'm not sure how much internet access I'll have. Once place I look and it says there is internet in the hotel, I look somewhere else and it says it costs $14.95 a day for internet access. I'm not paying that much. If I can't get on I'll post updates on Facebook. Maybe you guys with FB accounts can post my updates here, please.  I'll check back in shortly, and read what went on here yesterday. Onward and upward everyone!!! |

Yesterday afternoon I had a short period of time where it was hard to stay awake. I have my phone charged up today and I plan to spend the day reading Facebook posts, keeping up with emails, and send my sister stupid text messages to keep myself amused. I'm looking at the bright side. I worked 9 hours yesterday. Because of the class I'll get 10.5 in the next 2 days. I'm salaried and because of my contract not allowed overtime. So I work 10 hours on Thursday then I'm done for the week. I don't have to come in on Friday. I can sleep in, put my kids on the bus, do some things around the house and take care of me before I head off to AZ. Yes, I am looking at the bright side! |

I kept thinking to myself this just means I get to leave earlier on Thursday. I was wiped out by the time I got home last night. I'm hoping today's class runs closer to schedule. Bill - I hope everything works out with your knee and you are able to run again Stacie - I'm happy you stopped by the village, our queen has been greatly missed. | Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies Are Running a Half Marathon in January!!! I had such a SUCKTASTIC day yesterday I decided to do something for myself today. I signed up for the Pittsburgh HM on May 2nd. I had seriously considered the United HM in NJ on April 18th, but that date didn't work for me. Nephews first birthday party outranks my desire to run. I also decided I am going to do the Olympic distance at Black Bear. When I get back from AZ I will register for that. I think my year will look like 1 Sprint, 2 Oly's, 2 HM's and 1 FULL MARATHON to wrap up the year. I want to do the Marine Corps Marathon next October. I started looking at HIM's for next summer already. Is it too early to be planning for 2011? I mean I've already got IM China 2012 on the calendar... Edited by ironannekidd 2010-01-13 6:28 AM |
