Didnt like Ricardo clark in the holding role in the first game....and loses possession for the Ghana goal...he looks off the pace at this level...

 

and....he's subbed!.....

Forward movement is marginal at this point....speed is not in US's favor...they need to play with more width and open the game up a bit more....

Ghana has  played with good composure and pace so far...but I think that may change in the second half..not sure they can maintain that discipline for 90 min

I know ghana players are more physical but we are giving them way too much room and respect, play like we deserve to be here and grow a pair.

That penalty was lame.

Good job for the boys to make it out of the group stage. They played well enough in the 2nd half to win, didn't happen. USA!!

Awesome showing..need more quality players - defense especially - more depth..players like Findley, Clark, Gomez etc aren't going to cut it if they want to move into the elite.

Hopefully it will spark interest but it will probably be more like 2006....a bump in coverage then back to the normal place in US sports....
