That'll teach ya to discuss eating placenta......geez!

you mean i'm NOT supposed to talk about things like that....

Well, technically, you can talk about whatever you want, just be prepared for the consequences of your statements. Like killing a thread about someone's pregnant guinea pig by talking about hippie relatives with nasty eating habits.

I'm late to this thread and need someone to educate me of the rules.

If I start a thread and no one replies....did I kill it or abort it?

I don't believe in abortion or the death penalty. So neither.
Actually, none of that statement is necessarily true one way or another.

Rules?  Hah!
I think it started when somebody was commenting that they killed every thread they ever posted on.

Since then it has turned into light hearted mindless babble.

There have been several attempts by some posters to actually kill the thread by posting goofy pictures of themselves in HS or other goofy stages in their pathetic lives.   As you can see I they weren't successfull in that attempt

So did it die of natural causes?

This is a natural cause.

That would be lead poisoning, which I suppose could be considered natural causes. I would think also that the trauma being caused by the impacts of the rounds, and the loss of blood from various holes could also be considered "natural", in that those will, quite naturally, kill something.

Personally, I hoping to be able to run this thread into the ground. This is The Long Walk, and as I've mentioned, I'm way too competitive.

i'm just pointing out that some people see it as the circle of life and find it a spiritual experience to participate in something that is animal instinct...  (btw - this is the Uncle that is the UCSD professor...)

I don't care who you are, that's just f'in sick!!!

But we all know that you can't help yourself and will end up running (and too fast no doubt).  I have a very high tolerance for boredom so I predict that I will outlast you in this trivial task.

I don't know about that. You're more likely to kick it before me. As for tolerance for boredom, I've lasted this long reading your comments....

Just sayin'.

LOL [literally]

OK...so I am an oldish fart.  I have a long line of kids that could pick up where I left off {when I kick-off} and you might not even know that I wasn't in the game anymore.

Besides...my part time job doesn't bring me in contact with HE.  {stinky diapers yes...C4 no}

How's that for officious? All I know is, that I don't have any direct responsibility over the goofy littler f'ers, but I can still yell at 'em.

Ok, ok, but it makes it easier to monitor the type, amount, and frequency of which they get into.

Plus, I can keep an eye on 'em when I tell 'em to go sit in the corner. Which I have seriously done, although it's been a while. Nothing funnier than a 20 year old having to explain to everyone that walks past why they are sitting on a chair, facing a corner.

No...you didn't.  What had this particular nugget done to deserve such humiliation?

Yeah, I did. I don't remember the specific infraction, but it was boneheaded without being dangerous.

Sometimes, ya gotta get creative to really drive the point home, you know?

Yea...I guess you have to do what you have to do.  It would be easier if the CIA would let you use the mind control devices they have developed.

AGAIN with the creepy mouse!!!

Besides, I would have a lot less to laugh about if that were the case. Honestly, sometimes, it's like babysitting little kids. Even though they're all over 18, the act like 5 year olds.

Heh, we were reminiscing at dinner SAT, and I was talking about the time I had locked two guys in our supply cage, and the one had convinced the other to hold up the 2 bare wire ends to his nips while he held the TA-312 field phone. He then proceeded to crank the ringer hard core, thus causing electrical shock. They then proceeded to try it on his butt cheeks, and they almost got him to do his......manly parts.

And yes, for the record, they were ALL sober.

Sailors and soldiers with too much time on their hands is a recipe for disaster.
