Anyway, I was GOING to say... After a 12-hour night's rest I was able to get some swimming in today! 1,500! Haven't logged it yet so I'll go do that........... NOW! Yay! More swimming on our team! I get water in my ears. But I don't notice it while swimming. It's AFTERWARDS that I realize it's there. (Isopropyl alcohol is my friend.) |

I tried it once before. Once. And I got a mouthful of water, which I promptly inhaled. After much coughing, I decided never to try it again. I always seem to get water poured directly into my left ear when I try to breathe on my left side. My form fails a little bit, not much, but it's so annoying so I just avoid it unless the workout calls for it [which today's did.... *tilts head and shakes*] After a 12-hour night *EDIT* well that's what happens when you're on the laptop - your form gets sent for you automatically when your thumb touches the touch pad. Hope that you have recovered from your hectic couple of days. Wish I could sleep 12 hours. I usually only get 6 and a bad six at that. |

So here I am swimming today, when I think about the Reindeer. You know the one -- with the chocolate droppings. Next thing I know, I'm choking on cloudy pool water. Ptoooo! Ptoooo! I really should learn not to laugh while underwater.
but I like your motivational stuff... it always makes me smile which is very cool! hehe yeah maybe not that smartest thing... but if it keeps you entertained while underwater... Well, the bilateral breathing made me lose count of my laps. I was so busy trying to remember to breathe on the OTHER side, that I was counting strokes, instead of laps. Yes, I took the penalty hit.... went back to the last number I remembered. |
