I went to my running store yesterday (Saturday) and got fitted with some new shoes WITH my orthotics too so Im optimistic about spending some time on my feet OUTDOORS.... They shoes that I got were Nike Air Pegasus... in teresting... Ive been a Brooks girl for years so having a different brand is kind of scary as Ive been so attached to my Brooks for sooooo long! BUT... I deliberately drive an hour south to go specifically to this running shoe shop so.... I trust the owner who fits the shoes..
Cool! Hopefully they do the trick for you! I live in my orthotics and can't walk or run without them, my feet are soooo flat! I've always been an Asics girl so I understand its hard to change brands. |

I am beginning the month with a Ten mile race, which I am planning on turning into a 16 mile training run. I figure I don't want to overdue the runnning right before my first Tri, which is Sun next week, so I am not going to do the 10 miles and then the 16 a few days later just before the Tri. Don't wory though, because the 10 mile race wasn't included into my goals for the month. Come to think of it, neither was the Tri, so added bonus. Let the motivational techniques begin. I am counting on Dee and Mila to keep the team going, I hate losing challenges!!! |

It really is!! What I did discover though is they are ALSO Nike+ shoes nad have the little thing in the soul of your shoes where you can hook it up to your ipod... hmmm... |
