TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: They Who Shall not be Named II Nibbins Notes 11/13/2007 Lots of serious talk today around swim technique and running shoes - great info. Also quite a bit of talk around foot injuries, causes, recovery, and prevention. We also found out how many of us feel about the Blog vs Reply button in the inspire feature - is anyone else as confused as I first was? Nibbins is currently in the lead with 37% completion of goals across the team - great job!!!!! We made it to 117 pages and I just couldn't take it anymore - the thread was toooooooooo WIIIIIIIIIDE - needed more time posting and less time scrolling - LOL, not sure, but it seems like that might be some sort of a record! Individual updates: Dee - wow - she wasn't around all day, apparently she posted too much on monday and was having a hard time explaining it to her boss ;-) Also, the letters are rubbing off of her keyboard, but we're pretty sure that won't slow her down any! Scott - is at 76% of his goal for the month - he either needs to seriously taper or bump up his goal! His foot is giving him some problems - could it be the new shoes? stay tuned Tammy - going on vacation for 3 1/2 weeks in Costa Ric - wow, she's hoping for internet access, but may go through some serious withdrawal - not even nibbins notes will be able to help with that! She reached out for help with swim workouts and received lots of great advice, especially from Pam who is going to help her with some workouts Jeni - quick visit, a post about swimming. Hope her son is still feeling better! Pam - Awesome swim tips,we all want you as a swim coach! Donto - found us after turning off his notification over the weekend - whew! great tips about using Pam - the cooking spray- (unscented) with a wetsuit - also started the blog, reply banter Hector - is now training for his first tri - Nov 25, only suprised Dee hasn't made a promise on Beth's behalf to motivate him ;-) Sharon - had an awesome swim - she was flying through the water and feeling great about it!!! Heather - saved the thread from a near record daytime silence 1 hour without a post (pretty sure the all time record - ws 1 hr 20 min) WTG Heather!!! It's been a rat race at work for her, and all of the swimming talk is motivating her :-) Cat - Lots of friday deadlines, checked into Twisnibbins wearing only a towel - went to work without the towel AND naked legs??????? LOL Sal - Showed us some sparco yellow - really Sal - it's just not the same on the Gree Giant!!! LOL - he posted a great link on page 14 Kendra - first official day back at work - the mice played while she was away - That's it kids - I'm going to watch House now |

Could be... but I've known and trained with these guys for so long that I'm not sure they've even noticed that I'm a girl . Sorry Mila...impossible to mistake you for a guy...they may be askeered of you though... |

Extreme Veteran 461 Minnesota | Subject: RE: They Who Shall not be Named II Hello twisnibbins! Just a quick run-through posting I got a 45 min ride in today. I really don't know how I'm going to make it through a century ride training. I might need to toughen up and get out in the cold rather than try to do it indoors. Neither option sounds all that exciting right now unfortunately. It's too bad that the century ride has to be in April... it just means that I HAVE to do winter training. Tomorrow I will be swimming. I'm excited for it! Nervous too... I'll be on my own, with no instructor and I'll be in a different pool. Going to use my university's pool and hope that it isn't busy for lap swim. I just don't feel comfortable enough to deal with a lot of other people or having to share a lane. Have a good and chatty night everyone! Thanks for all the awesome support in this challenge |

I thought it was a great honor when they invited me to guys night out. I pointed out to them that I was, in fact, not a guy. The looks on their faces were that of disbelief . On the other hand, I do wear those sassy bike skirts a lot. Yes, they are very askeered. I like it that way. |

Full store credit for returning the pair, got a pair of Mizuno Alchemys instead. Good... they should be understanding and you gotta love customer service that will keep you loyal. Hope the new kicks will keep the feet happy. |
