I will not complain of my 71 degree water again. Why was it so cold? They don't heat? What temp was the building?  OUCH!  Great job being tough!

I guess there was something wrong with the heater. Supposed to be a constant 85 degrees.  Pants I say. It was bloody freezing.  Better not be like that tonight.

Completed some more and followed a similar workout plan that a friend did yesterday -

10 x 50 - 54 sec. each hard/avg., w/30 to 60 sec. rest in between.
4 x 100 - 2:04, 2:06, 2:08, 2:06, w/30 to 60 sec. in between.
2 x 50 - 49, 48, with 60 sec. rest in between.
2 x 50 cool down - around 64 sec. each.

Total of 1100 yards, w/about another 1100 to complete my goal.  Soooooo, I'll do a 2nd swim tonight and keep it nice and easy after doing this lunch workout.

FISHIES ARE COOL, FISHIES ARE FUN, and FISHIES RAWK!!!!

ScotinSeattle - 2008-01-24 1:05 PM Hey Kendra. How are you today?

Doing great.  Hung out with "Girl Passing On Left" from the Twisted Blisters last night.  She and her hubby are great.  If anyone makes it to the bay area, you need to look them up.

Drive-by posting. It's 9 PM, and I am still at work. Needless to say, I am not going to get a swim in today. And yes, this is becoming a "recurring theme."

Sorry guys. Hitting my goal is looking like a challenge in itself. I'll try to get some big swims in over the weekend, but I already know that next week is going to be another "fun" work week. (Basically, I'm going to swim until my arms fall off on Saturday and Sunday.)

(Someone please tell me why I'm even THINKING about organizing the Feb challenge? I have NO time to even eat or sleep properly.)

And today, they told me there's a hiring freeze, so we may not be able to replace my coworker who left.....

I believe we all understand.  Don't try to do everything, you work-a-holic!  Decline to have the Feb. challenge, or give someone else an opportunity to do it - YOU CAN'T DO EVERYTHING!

Thanks for all that you have done, though!
