Cancellara was PHENOMENAL...especially when he took the lead on the final ascent...a seated climb on a 20% grade NO LESS, the steepest ascent on the course. Queen, Are you F'ing kidding me!! Unreal and I don't even like the Swiss!!! That was unbelieveable. Boone looked like he got stuck in the mud!! I. KNOW. that by far was one of THE most SPECTACULAR MOMENTS that ive EVER witnessed in cycling. not only was it one of the STEEPEST/NARROWEST parts of the course. but it was COBBLE STONE AND it came after 6+ hours of racing. Apparently I'm crazy...haha...QQTD: Do you talk to your bike? For sure! Not yet, but I definitely apologize to my quads frequently. give it time, TOM. does your bike have a name? name it, and maybe you'll talk to it. stacieb I haven't named her yet - I'm waiting for a name to just pop into my head and feel right. I do tell her she's pretty often though! |

As much as I'd love to help out, I feel like I'd be much better off as a "Mentee." I was actually really bummed last December because I hadn't checked BT for a few days when they opened up the Mentor program and I missed out. Oh well - maybe this time. I keep joining as a mentee, but then feel like a dork.  Why would you feel like a dork? Because I already know the answers to most of the questions they have--and I am starting my 3rd season of tris, but I am chronically undertrained and have only done 3 tris.  |

A long as your co-mentor is strong in areas where you're not (do you even have any weaknesses?Other than for the hot gouhlie men, that is...) then the gender thing doesn't make any difference to the majority of women. |
