I knew it was a taper tantrum! You'll be great this weekend! Even better, the rainy season is holding off until Monday. Dry - cold, but dry - temps in the low 50s by afternoon - race day. sounds perfect |

I am in Chicago, on a layover as I make my way to Detroit, and ultimately to Windsor, Canada. It was 8 degrees in MN this morning... brrrrrrrrrrr I have been a bit light on Nibbens posts and inspires so far this week, but I promise to make up for it when I get back in town later this week. Until then, have a great time, and I am sure we will be on VII by that time! 8 degrees? Makes me shiver as I sit here in my tank top typing! Beth, glad to see you aren't taking any chances with that ear infection so you can play on BT! Hope you are feeling better. They are so painful. Way to finish the resume, Judi! Glad the mojo is back, Scott. And hiya to Hector and anyone else I missed! |

Yes, I did a lot of 25's, but still, it's the closest I've come to actually training since early October. I'm bathing in the happy endorphins (NOT LD sugar high) right now! |

Hey Bedrest Beauty Beth (edit) and Purty Pool Pam! Some project redirection going on. Now that the team realizes the original proposal didn't make sense, we're trying to see how we can change plan so that it does. I like this, though. It's a good thing. Good we didn't spend too much money before we got too far down the road. I'm glad were getting over the politics. Beth, you feeling better? Back to work tomorrow? Let me warn you...it may be rough . Pam, what's Bunco...a company that makes buns? Hee...and don't let Bethsheba tempt you with those evil LDs. Edited by sparco 2007-11-27 1:40 PM |

LOL - I like that - Bedrest Beauty Beth and Purt Pool Pam - that is good news on the project - I wish we had more of that type of reality check on projects at my company - we always seem to take a shoot, aim, ready, approach, it can be very frustrating - I am feeling better, although I feel another nap coming on soon! (I've been awake for 4 whole hours - lol) tomorrow is definitely going to be rough - not looking forward to it |

We have 12 members and each of us hosts the game at our house once a year. The monthly hostess provides dinner and dessert and prizes for the "winners". Basically it's a way for us to get together once a month, eat and socialize. |

Go to WAL*MART and buy yourself a plastic rain poncho, or better yet the cheap plastic rainSUITS (separate pants and jacket). They'll keep you warm before the race, and you can throw them out just before the start, or even during the run. Go to Fleet Farm and buy a pack of cheap white cotton gloves. Same principle as the rain suit. |
