geauxtri - 2007-12-11 12:45 PM Hey anybody knows of a soap that actually gets the chlorine off of you.  Even after washing and conditioning my hair, I can still smeel the chlorine in it?

body soap, haven't found any

I do have a shampoo that I really like, as soon as my daughter gest home she's going to call me so I can make sure I'm right on the name

I also wear a swim cap - I know it's not the most attractive, but I swear by it

I love Dove Deep Moisture (Ultra hydrating) bodywash. It's the only thing I've used that really cuts the chlorine odor. For hair, I haven't found anything that works for a long time. So I switch brands often to try to keep my hair shiny and bouncy vs. stiff and dull. Right now I'm using Aussie deep moisture.

Morning Nibs!

Kristen - glad to see you got home safely!  Have fun with your little monkey and potty training

Kendra - what an exciting start to your morning!  firemen - woo hoo

Mila - how're you feeling?  must be better since you swam   Cheesecake Queen?  LOL - I'll keep that in mind when the time comes

Scott - nice drainer ride - how exciting - and, I didn't sleep much either - I guess you don't have the corner on it - LOL

Heather - we got more snow here - and ICE - did you buy clementines?  those are sooooo yummy, they taste like candy

Don't let Mila get away with having you log consumption in order to 'own' the title...

There's nothing wrong with logging cross training.

It's really mild and won't sting your eyes, so I use it as hair and body ... L'Oreal Kids Swim Shampoo. Citrus scent also freshens and brightens after a swim ... and it has conditioners so I don't use a separate one after (but I did when I had long hair).

But it is true that chlorine smell is an aphrodisiac, especially to the right kinds of men!

Wow. that particular picture of cheesecake is suggestive of ... a delectable experience.

Swim caps, definitely--tight latex is always good () ... still damp but not wet. I forgot to mention I usually condition my hair before I get in the pool--keeps the chlorine from penetrating the shaft to begin with.

I'm still stuck on that pink cheesecake.  Who eats pink cheesecake?  What flavor is pink cheesecake... is it peppermint?  berry?  and why does it look like jello on steroids instead of cheese?

Carry on.
