yeah, but i can pee, poop, talk on the phone, and nurse the BABY at the same time (no this is NOT something i recommend, and i don't do it unless i ABSOLUTLY have to )

it's not like i was just CHATTING with a friend or something! i was paying my phone bill!!

you are too funny, girl! but they did say that if you want to rid your self of telemarketers..grunt a few times then flush the toilet while talking to them...or another is to ask them for thier number and tell them you will call them right back...do not back down...I actually did this and it worked!

not sure? when in October? I have already committed to running the rock n roll HM in San Jose with my dd one of those weekends...if it works out in my schedule I may think of it. Have you done it before? or are you from this area?

oh, I get it....I always used to call the front desk and tell them to call my room and have my dh bring me a towel or soap or T.P.... hehe

overcast there? THAT SUX! come visit me....in the 1950's there was a government test on the best "year around" climate. Redwood City won....and we have the arch as you enter our downtown area that states....CLIMATE BEST, BY GOVERNMENT TEST. And I must say it is true....our weather is pretty much sunshine daily! Here is an open invitation to come and visit any time! I will give you the best durn tour of San Francisco that you could ever go on, and since I used to race bikes, I know great mtn bike trails...and then there is the road rides...lots of beautiful rides in the BIG sequoia trees...can be lots of climbing...but with those climbs...are those FUN downhills! So, there you have it! It is summertime and well time to plan that San Francisco Vacation! WOOT WOOT!

...Kenny Black......every year we do our annual "Toga Run" where we all dress up in togas at lunchtime and run a couple of miles to a local restaurant in full toga outfits and then eat Ceaser salads (of course) and then run back......I always look forward to these and it is a good motivator to get out and run and prepare for it.

Anyway.....I am sure you will find your way out of the funk before long.....and will all be keeping a look out on your logs to keep you on track......with plenty of inspires .......and butt kickins (if necessary)....LOL

Toga run...where are you again??? NM - darn...too far west for this Washingtonian (DC, that is).

Hey dcrunning Diva..........here's a challenge for ya.......that might give some motivation for running and help with your "funk"

If you can get yourself out there running and get a decent way close to the goal numbers in the next week....I MAY post some toga run pics .....!!!!

Sorry....Lynne...it is down here in New Mexico......another day in the mid 90's with sun all day.

It is supposed to cool off to mid 80's with lots of wind for a couple of days....then back to the mid to high 90's for the weekend.

This is main reason I love living here!

LOL. Didn't think so!  The weather in Scotland was nicer than nice. Sheesh. Can't even take my husband out for a test drive on his new bike.  Can't wait for the weekend to get the hell away from dodge and it's rain!  

Wow...went away for a few days and come back to 23 pages of posts!  I had a fabulous time visiting family on the east coast.  We got to go to an Orioles vs. Red Sox game (saw Manny Ramierez hit his 500th HR) and we ate way too much food.
