Alright, that's another 3.1 miles for me.  Unfortunately, by legs are tired from all the biking and running.  They need a day off, but that's not happening for awhile yet.

My training has kinda gone out the window this week for a few days. My dw went to a conference in Chicago on Sunday morning and does not return till late Wed night. In addition to her reg full-time job she sells "Pampered Chef" (fancy cookware stuff) so she is at their national conference. Man that must be an oestrogen fest in that hotel this week!

Anyway with her gone I have not been able to get out on a decent run, bike or swim since last Friday!!!! I am going crazy, feeling guilty and have been eating like crap.

Need to do lots of making up from Thursday onwards.

It's been nice hanging out with kids though. We've been keeping busy going to swimming lessons, dollar movies, hanging in the park. Good fun and lots of rest for me!

I think I am gonna ride like mad man on Thursday on my way to work. Been watching the TdF every evening once the kids go to bed and I am all caught up on the 10hrs of recorded coverage I had.

Might need to take a trip to the import store and get a jar of Nutella (to finally try this Nutella ice cream potion) and few cans of Irn Bru and kick back and watch a good movie tonight.

Oh well.......I suppose I need to just make the most of the rest.

Sorry guys.......my goals are sucking in this challenge this month. I am glad it was a CASUAL challenge cos I would definitely be needing to put up a speedo shot if it wasn't!!!

Kenny - of course I think she is amazing but I've got to tell you that when a camera is anywhere near her and pointing in her direction she immediately starts posing for the camera. And they aren't normal 2-yr old poses...they are always "model like" poses. If I had to guess I would imagine she would go into modeling when she is older. I swear - she is a natural...plus, she is so cute!

I always miss my Pampered Chef products when I'm at the beach!!!

Kenny - you had such an amazing June so don't be disappointed in your workouts this month. You'll get back into things when your dw returns I have no doubt.

dcrunningdiva - 2008-07-14 5:54 PM OMG!!!! Look what happened to my eyes when I ate my nutella/ice cream mix...maybe it was the Hershey's Almond bar I crunched up in it... BTW, I'm drinking a TON of water for the rest of the week thanks to that combo! Excuse the hat - it was a really bad hair day!

You go girl! you look fabulous (even bad hair day!!!) looks like a skinnier Tracy to me!!! kiu!

this morning i got up, and dh said, i'm leaving in 45 minutes--i forgot i had a massage this morning!
so yet again. i'm stuck here all day with the kiddies, and not running.
HOPEFULLY the bike will get delivered today, and then i'll be SOOOOPER happy about THAT.
i AM dissapointed in the total and complete lack of running here though.

been looking all morning for a different bike, and the thing is, that since i used paypal to pay for the first one, it'll take ANOTHER 5 days or so for it to all clear my bank and everything, so until all THAT happens, they've put a HOLD on my refund!!! so i can't even order a different one yet!!!! oooooooh this is frustrating!!!
looking for a silver lining here, and just not seeing it! my race that i was REALLY wanting the new bike for is in A MONTH!! i can't WAIT for very much longer, or i'll end up doing danskin on my crap-o-la mt bike!!
what to do, what to do?

Hey Lyssa, why not check out REI? They have great bikes, Novara brand. Their own. Inexpensive too.
