Beach start? I'd think you jog down the beach (trying to avoid collisions with fellow racers), slog into the water (while trying not to fall on top of fellow racers), flop yourself down (into the only 1 cm x 1 cm square of water not occupied by fellow racers), and start swimming (while attempting to avoid fellow racers AND jellyfish).... But I could be wrong. 
Its a 400m/10/2.5... Im curious to see how i go to be honest... Its a beach start not a deep water start... Ive never done a beach start! The cycle course has a hill that you go over 5 times... and Ive always raced flat courses... Oh and the run isnt completely flat either... so Im quite curious about it all... and a little nervous... For some reason tris make me nervous...  And sharks... no sharks please....

The thing that annoys me most is I was deep asleep when my alarm went off this morning and i could REALLY have done with the extra hour in bed! Ive been tired nad low on sleep all week!
