I really lost it.

I was slamming the walls anywhere a mosquito was near.

I went crazy with the RAID can.

I just can't believe I'm still getting eaten with three coats of 100% DEET on every inch of my skin, whether under clothing or not. I think my face is going to peel off.

And still my skin feels like it's also on fire (and I've got half-golf-ball sized bruised, swollen, ITCHY lumps) from the bites.

Well, that rules out diabetes for me. I may be thirsty all the time, pee like a race horse, and eat everything in sight, but I am definitely not losing weight.

Don't you hate it when that happens?  I do stuff like that all the time.  Nothing beats my horseback riding instructor though.  She had a pair of glasses on top of her head another around her neck and was running around trying to find her glasses.  Another time she was leading a horse around all the barns looking for his halter which was on the horse's head.

I'm PIZZED. Sure, it's hideous, uncomfortable, and even somewhat painful right now, but I'm also angry about having spent WEEKS--dengue AND chikungunya--REALLY sick and in a LOT of pain.

Sorry, just venting, ranting, and generally continuing my temper tantrum without further damaging my sister's walls.

I went swimming with two pairs of goggles last Sunday ... I "lost" the pair that was around my neck.

They have closed the road because the water is so deep. It's half way to our building. The parking lot is now empty except for the guy who pulled his car up on the sidewalk so he can get in without getting wet. The rest of us have moved to higher ground. Before they closed the road, the water was deep enought that it would wash up over the hood of cars that were driving through. People keep cutting through our parking lot so the can get around the road block but end up turning around. I just watched one car that tied to cut through the center of the parking lot and BAM they bounced up on the center median that is covered with water.

I finally finished my scarf! Not without excitement though... I was watching a you tube video on how to cast off and the way it was demonstrated caused me to do the final stitch wrong - which means no knot and scarf starts to unravel! I'm so happy this thing is finally done.

Oh, and yesterday was Coke free!
