Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) kaqphin - 2008-04-21 8:57 PM Actually the job applicant thing might not be too bad.... happens a lot with jobs here because so many of the positions are so specialised and the industry pool not that deep so... you either get a couple of reasonably or well qualified people OR young'uns who want to take a leap into something (yes I realise Im a young'un) Basically 3 applicants is fine as long as one of them will fit and do the job! It might be a good sign that the job advertisement means only the right people will apply! One is a young'un. (No experience at all.) One is actually overqualified, I think. (Which makes me wonder why they've applied.) And the third, I'm willing to bet, is doesn't have the necessary qualifications. (Although they have a nice work history, but that's not enough.) |

How are you Jen? Go go, super brains! i'm doing ok. Tired of the stomach issues, but still waiting to hear from my doctor's office. And moving sucks. So glad it's done. How are you feeling? When are you due to hear from the docs? Hopefully tomorrow. I left a message today, but I think he was out of the office. Ok will keep my fingers crossed and try to rememver to ask tomorrow morning (my time) |

Well, there's no "fudging" it. They either have the necessary degree, or they don't. If they do, we can interview them. If they don't, they are told that they can't interview. (We had one person interested, but he had the wrong degree. So he was told not to even apply.) |
