What is everyone asking santa for for christmass?

I'm asking for a trainer.  Nothing fancy just something to Get-R-Done.

i need some winter running gear

I'm a whimp, I can't run outside when its cold.  Also can't seem to find time to run outside when someone else is here to watch the girls during daylight hours.

Edit: Woot woot 500 but man I lost all of my pretty stars

I actually prefer to run outside when its cold, not hot. I get really hot running, its hard to get started but after a few mins I'm really toasty. Of course, it depends on how cold we're talking! The coldest it would ever get here in winter is just over 0C/32F first thing in the morning, warming up to a top of around 12-15C/52-59F. In summer it easily gets to 35-40C/95-105F so unless you run before 6-7am, you ain't running or else you'll get dehydrated/ heat exhausted/ burnt to a crisp LOL!

Hi Stacie! Hi Yanti!

Hi Magda - how are you? Just a fly by before a shower and bed. I am not used to the time change (3 hours behind normal) so I am ready for bed quite early.

chartierm22 - 2008-11-13 5:56 AM Well I think know my elsdest is none too happy with me right now.   Have been telling her to get her room picked up for 5days now and still she hasn't done it.  Well this afternoon she was supposed to go to girl scouts, but I told her if she doesn't get her room picked up its a no go.  Needless to say room is not picked up, she had a crying jag and is now passed out and we did not go to girl scouts.  Do they ever get better at picking up their rooms?  I have a terrible feeling that this is going to get much worse before it gets better.

I don't have kids yet but I would have done exactly the same thing! It prolly will get worse before it gets better, but it WILL get better!

Can someone tell me if there is a some time travel thing that eurydice79 knows about that we don't, since she put in 6 points as of this time?

I am about 12 hours ahead of most of you and I exercise REALLY early in the morning. I am counting Sat - Thurs for points. I doesn't really matter though because I'll only be able to claim 5 points for the next 2 weeks anyway, according to challenge rules

Seriously what is going on here people, where is everyone?

Got my point today, more ballet moves, tomorrow should be interesting

DUnno its been a quiet couple of days.... I know Phil is spending more time with the family but...

Its like the curse of the second thread...

Hello, Freaky-Freaks!

I will at least appear to update you on my progress.  I did a Z2 run for 30 min. tonight, in the rain, in the dark (no Billy Squire singing now ), on the country roads with no lights - very pleasant, though.

Can someone tell me if there is a some time travel thing that eurydice79 knows about that we don't, since she put in 6 points as of this time?

Hey, Rev. - get better!

A belated HAPPY BIRFDAY TO THOSE MARINES, TRAVIS!!

Kristin - tell 2goggs "hello" from me and have fun!

John - welcome aboard.

Dimply-pimply-poo - thanks for the irritating little Elmo inspire - now I have some target practice!

Thanks all to those that responded regarding my milestone post.  Much appreciated.

(yeah, I could break these up, but I didn't feel like it, so there. pfffffbbbbbttttt. )

HI!!!!!  We've missed ya!  Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

Tanx!  Doing alright - I do miss ya peeps.  But I need to balance the family committments better.

Here's a *HUG* to you and the other great ladies.  The guys, well, if you want a hug, I can give ya one, too.  I hug all!

Such a giver ...

I got a new car a few weeks ago and I've been trying to sell my old one. Its not going too well. I've had lots of enquiries but most people are put off by the fact that its done 232,000kms (145,000 miles). Its a shame because mechanically its very good, I've serviced it every 7000k and it has a new clutch

Sure its not the newest or prettiest car on the market but it would suit a student or similar. I'll keep trying. Its been 3 weeks now!

Since I've been doing more exercise, I want to drink water all the time. This is great, because whilst I'm not averse to water, its usually hard to drink the recommended amount per day. I wish coffee & tea counted towards water intake!

I can relate - since i increased the training Im thirsty all the time... which is bad because if you drink a lot of water you also expell a lot of water which means a lot of trips down the work hallway...

Then again it gets me away from my desk!

I'm kinda thinking of a wetsuit. But I have to decide first if I am going to do a HIM next year. If not, then I don't really need a wettie

Ive still never swum in a wetsuit.... wonder if there are HIMs that arent likely to be wetsuit legal...

That would save one expense..

Good morning ALL.   Sounds like there is some steamy relational stuff going on.  I once dated two girls at once, one in college, one at home.  That was easy but it didn't turn out too well.  Both broke my heart.   I also dated (fooled around) with the older sister of an ex-girlfriend.   But she had fooled around with my (ex) best friend and so maybe she had it coming.  Hope it works out for the best for you Yanti.   Unless you are committed to one then I don't think it hurts to have fun!!!

That's it for my confessional today.  Now I am happily married, well at least that is what my wife tells me...................  I kid!

Check out the "Hot for Hats" thread, it is not very popular!

I think that thread is both awesome and hilarious LOL

I love all the animals as hats. If I had an exciting hat I would add it in. Alas I do not.

Although, thats got me thinking. I do have a huge over-sized sombrero from uni drinking days, AND I have a nice fancy hat I wore to the races once. If I have time over the weekend I'll photograph them and add them to the thread

I have the BIG white sunhat I wore for Melbourne Cup day at work...
