TriAya - 2008-11-19 12:11 PM I can't believe no pie for you. I'm putting a Thanksgiving spread on for the rest of the "homeless orphans" (no family here) and you better believe I'm eating lots of everything. Yum, yum, yum!

Sounds like my christmas plan for homeless orphans...

Im already planning the food and Im pretty sure I could feed a LOT of people with what I have planned... will have to send food home with everyone

Ooooh, no Chrissie trip home, luv? I'm sorry. Me not either, but I'm not sure what I'm doing for Christmas. It makes me feel a bit sad, thinking of it.

I havent had a christmas at home for something like 7-8 years.... I guess Im kind of used to it. My brother is coming up to Sydney though! At least thats the plan at the moment...

I just hope the flatmate goes away... only so much I can take of him at the moment and his parents are going to be staying over New Years which is when I was going to take some time off work... now Im not so keen on that idea!

Yuck!

mchally - 2008-11-19 12:07 PM Ironically, I will not be able to sample-let alone eat-any of the pie.

Wow I couldnt do that...

Well there is the Tillamook Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream in the freezer...It seems that with some digestive aids I am able to 'sample' the ice cream w/out noticeable negative effects.

Yes i left a note about that in your log... stick to 'SAMPLING' not the whole carton ok?

I saw that- it is all good.  I only buy ice cream in half gallons-It will make two servings.

Good thing I dont know what a gallon is... as in I cant picture it as a volume... I dont work in gallons...

Hold on..... 1 gallon = 3.79 Liters

Right so basically half a gallon is still an incredible amount of ice cream...

Oh, no! It is? Oh, dear.

Yeah especially since he hasnt got time off work so if I do I will be hanging out with them... sooooo NOT what I had in mind...

They are lovely people but everytime I take time off work its for a committment.. the funeral in May, my brothers arrival in July...

I want some nice relaxing time off... not some family commitment... and they arent even MY family!

Maybe I need to invite myself somewhere for Christmas. Somewhere near enough, train-doable.

I could also volunteer somewhere. That would be really nice, to help give Chrissie to folks who REALLY can't have one.

mchally - 2008-11-19 12:07 PM Ironically, I will not be able to sample-let alone eat-any of the pie.

I cannot count the times that I have finished a half gallon in less than 24 hours. Basically I eat it as afternoon snack, evening snack, bedtime snack, and breakfast.

Well thats 4 separate meals...

It is amazing how quickly it disappears when you get a spoonful every time you wander past the freezer.

Ive been known to do that with a jar of Nutella...

TriAya - 2008-11-18 8:03 PM Excellent. I am talking to myself in Nibbs. I know no one has ever done that before.
Oh look! I'm invisible! Way cool! I've always wanted to be invisible! I have SUPER POWERS! *Evil Dee puts on the cloak of invisibility... * I only said I had super powers. But I'm still Evil....

But cute...

At least, according to my avatar, anyway.

REally? I thought you were a blue umbrella drink...

Hm. Yep. Now that I look, I AM a blue umbrella drink, aren't I? Well, the "Cute but evil - things balance out" avatar is still posted on my blog.
