This doesn't mean I can't run harder and fast, just that it takes more effort than it did three months ago.

WOW that sounds like a real challenge! Im impressed with your ability to persevere!

That's me, always persevering!

Well your avatar is pretty inspirational!

Speaking of which I think I am about 7 months overdue for getting you that update photo.  Unfortunately due to unforeseen issues I think I will need to get back into the swing of things first.

Thats ok... I recognise you with this one!

Mornin' everyone!  It's been a crazy one here, but I got my run in before work.  A little bit of speed work...

Every time I check in, we are pages and pages past the last time I checked.  Any advice on how to keep caught up with this team?

Great job getting the run in.  As far as keeping up I think someone may have been nominated to produce summaries of what's been posted.  And that someone may have been me.  Apparently I have free time
So. Where's our summary for today? Nevermind -- we already know: "The team discussed food, beer and post padding." OK, we're all up to speed now.

Oh good to know.. sounds like the same discussion that was happening when I went to bed!

Mmm beer always looks good!

No it doesn't. <-- Not a beer fan. (Which means there's more for the rest of you.) I like blue umbrella drinks though.

Im quirky... I like:

- Beer on a hot day

- Wine with a meal

- Vodka with everything

- Cocktails with friends

umm... not really a dark spirits kind of girl though...

Just remembered I have a scheduled 10k race this weekend in one of the mountain towns here in Colorado.  It was originally set as a Marathon starting at 8300+ Ft elevation and ending at 6200+ Ft elevation, but that as discussed yesterday has been altered.  Maybe next year.

Well, that's a bummer. But, on the plus side, you ARE getting healthy again. It's just taking awhile, which is frustrating. But you ARE getting better....

Assuming I get healthy sooner than later I plan to run the Steamtown Marathon (Pennsylvania) in Oct.

That's a good goal.

Every once in a while I play this stupid mind game with myself and I convince myself that I can do my work-out when I get hiome from work. It's so dumb casue after my 11 hour day plus the drive when I get home I dont wanna do nothin.

Just gotta remember to get my runs in either in the morning or during lunch.

Anyway, 4.79 miles for today.

No real running for me today. First day off since April. I did my physical therapy session for my arthritic knee and then Wii Active which was a pretty good little workout that includes running, lunges, squats, punching and kicking too (other things too but I haven't gotten there yet).

In the evening I went to a bike maintenance workshop given by a local tri club.I have another question, since I am about to go away for two weeks. How far after the day can you update your training log? I have been doing mine every day but while on vacation in Alaska I don't know how often I'll get online.

So I could go back and make changes to last year if I wanted to... so dont worrry if you cant update during your holidays!

Anyway, Dee said I should come here for a tasering join your team, so here I am.  I'm fighting a cold, but my first run of the month is on the schedule for Thursday, so I am resting up.

I guess I'll spend the resting time trying to catch up on 30 pages!
