It looks like my wife and I have a new addition to our already dysfunctional family. We were on our way out for supper and while driving down the highway saw a yellow lab in the ditch. I stopped to check to see if it had a tag or nameplate on it and we discovered it was injured from what looks like jumping out of a moving vehicle. Long story short after the trip to the vet he is now home with us waiting to be x-rayed In the morning. Possible broken pelvis and lots of road rash.

Trying my best to look on the bright side: not much work (basically here if someone needs something from my department), and I'm getting paid OT. Brought a book, a movie, my yoga mat, and my NormaTec recovery boots. I'm determined to make this a pleasant experience.

I could have, and I did consider it, but a friend invited me on her long ride tomorrow and that sounds much more appealing

sorry you are workin, elaine. i had a gorgeous ride this morning. 20 degree drop in temps, cloudy skies, just amazing. and i'm home alone for the weekend so i'm going to be so productive. cracking down on some homework at the moment.

Morning Mark. Just did my Sunday 10 mile run. I got home and the entire family is still sleeping so I'm quietly playing on the computer til they get up. Wonderful weather. 57 degrees when I left this morning for my run. I love this time of year.
