My dw got back from Chicago late last night and by the time we got caught up it was about 1am and I had to get up at 5am for work. So I finally got to train today and I actually ran. Got 6 miles done at lunchtime while at work. It was hot and humid out there but I didn't care. Once I got out there I really enjoyed the run. It was not too fast, but I got it done. Man I feel good now |

It was a good run, and my legs felt really good even though I haven't really given them a break since the 4th. Hopefully they will continue to feel this way through my longer run this weekend. |

I was so wiped out yesterday that I thought I was coming down with something but I guess all the sun just put me down for a day. Anyway, the first part of my run was very slow but I picked up the pace mid way through and ended up with an even 10 min/mile for the entire run. I've gotta tell you guys - the extra weight I have dropped has really done wonders for my pace. Of course, I'm so used to running/training for marathons that I haven't really known my shorter distance pace for a long time and I've gotten used to 11 min/mile + paces. I'm really loving the 10 min/mile pace!  |

Of course, in all honestly, I really wasn't prepared to swim with the jellyfish today! |
