Artemis - 2009-05-24 11:13 AM The sunburn on my arms hurts a lot more today.  I'm supposed to run, but I might wait until tomorrow because sweat always makes it hurt more.  Plus it is starting to rain and I'm being a wimp. 

Two things that have helped me with sunburns: ('Cause I hate sunscreen. LOL) Aloe.... (especially fresh from the plant) Vinegar/water rinse.... (helps take the sting out) I suppose you could use one of those 'after sun' things that has lidocaine, too. That would numb it.

I've been using "after sun lotion" with aloe and vitamin E.  It was all I could find last year, but it's more for after tanning.  It doesn't really help at all.

I have some of the lidocaine spray, too, but I have no idea where it is.

If I can't find it, I'll try the vinegar and water.

Make some tea, let the bags cool and put the tea bags on your burn.  The tannic acid in the tea will take away the burn.

Interesting.  Then I also have tea to drink. 

I have done this and it does work.  Turned me from a lobster to nicely tanned.

I was just going to post this remedy! I have used this since I was a kid. it does work.

I think the couple that Beth had in her pool left PA for VA overnight.  They were going pretty heavy in the lane next to mine.  One of the noodle lady classes was getting ready to start up and the instructor came over to speak to them about it being a FAMILY GYM and leave the foreplay in the bedroom...yes, that bad...

Wow...some things just aren't meant for the public to see.  Why would you think that's ok for a public pool?  Crazy people.

Yeah, it was nasty to say the least.  Obviously some people have no sense.

So... the guy who was in my pool actually found a partner? (Yes, he was going it alone....)

EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!  Need to go rinse my brain out now.

Believe me, I used up the gym's entire supply of hot water and antibacterial soap.....

No. We had "retroactive pay cuts." (They're taking a year's worth of pay reductions out of our May paycheck. I can't see how this is legal, but no one is challenging it.) Plus, they're talking about giving us another 9 - 12% paycut next year. So I need to cut back on everything.... And the gym membership, well, it's expensive....

Good thing you are SO in love with running now

When featured with legs, yes, they are. LOL Why did you have pink pom poms? Just to cheer everyone on?

Something like that... it was a pink race... so i went looking for pink accessories and ended up with 4 pink and white pom poms...

Although if by some freak accident the girls loose the swim challenge I guess they could feature in my new avatar...
