MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II 1stTimeTri - 2008-01-29 1:08 PM 1000 yards over lunch. We'll get hit wit' sum nasty, crappy weather before work is done - rainy and very windy - we have warnings already. But, as a dedicated fishy, will sneak over and get a little more in. Any issues, I'll post anyways. Way to go on extra yardage Phil. |

Aww cheers. I appreciate that! I found out I am allergic to latex. Whoops. All weekend my head was on bloody fire. Well felt like it anyway. Bought some nice, new silcone ones online (and a couple of new suits too..hhe) Hey if you ever check into the hospital make sure they know you are allergic to Latex, a lot of medical supply is latex, they will have special equipment for you! Very serious allergy!

I never wore caps in the pool before and if I did I wore my Scotland flag cap which is silicone. I just enjoy showing off my triathlete ones which are all latex and I guess all the swimming I have done lately has really had an effect on me. I was told once before I may have had some form of reaction, but that was in another *place* ahem. But just not to use them. Stupid me never thought of caps!!! Needless to say I've just ordered a bunch of silicone ones |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Got in 1950 yds today. I'm at 22,300 / 24,000 - which is 93% of my goal. I won't be able to get a swim in tomorrow, due to my work schedule. I'm hoping to get one on Thursday, though.... If I can get to the pool, I should get the 1700 yds that I have left with no problem. That said, I shall repeat my motto for the month: "Work is a four-letter word" - which means there's no predicting what will happen there.... |

Iron Donkey 38643 , Wisconsin | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Okay, the weather took a turn for the worse earlier this afternoon - we dropped about 50 or more degrees in less than 24 hours. Wind has been kicking up nasty! But, I decided to stay after work and get in an extra workout. Open pool didn't start until 6 p.m., so did a 2.1 (approx.) run on the indoor track (I hate those effin' things), then completed 1300 yards for my Fellow Friendly Flying Fishies! Aaaaaahhhh, nothing like a little upper body pain for the day. Oh, yeah, I finally did my 2-a-day workout for once. Ya just gots to tell that noggin' to keep goin' sum daze! Good night, all! Oh yeah, I was starting to head home and called wifey and found out that they (wife, 3 sons and dog) were all in the dark with no flippin' electricity - a power line was down! They've been in the dark for 2-1/2 hours. Luckily the house is well-insulated. We live in the outskirts of our town and are on a different power company (more urban than urban). Power came back up just after 8:00 p.m. WHEW! With windchill, it would have registered about -30 degrees F tonight outside, and if the power would have stayed off, it would have not been a good night at all. MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Phil - glad to hear the power came back and you did not have to freeze through the night. Lynne - LOL, never TMI on BT. Glad to not have that problem though. I never would have connected it to swim caps either. Dee - glad to see that you have been able to make it to the pool. Bet it feels good. Beth - sparkly as usual. Ken - Great to hear from you. inspire away. |

If I can stop here, make my goal 25000 then I'm a little short. I feel so bad, I really do. I am so sorry for letting everyone down. I honestly never thought I would be attacked again as I really had been feeling good. |
