lyssa-gator - 2008-01-23 3:23 PM yeah, it was fun explaining THAT to the DR. we were just trying something, and needless to say, it didn't work very well *blushing* super embarassed!! but i've been running with it, it's really only been super painfull for about the last three days. the actual "incident" was like 2 weeks ago.

so is there anything you can do?

Nothing like jumping in with both feet, do you ever slow down....even for a second?  How are the kids about the move? or will they stay put until the end of the school year?

Wow my husband would be impressed!  You must have felt it when they cracked, No? 

LOL!  that's me - and nope, not often - I should probably slow down more (although in this case, it's directly related to being able to pay the bills - if it weren't for that, I'd take a looooonnnnnng time in between )

My kids are doing great, I think they are actually getting excited - especially now that they are starting to 'get' how much they will be able to do!

they will stay here and I will come home on the weekends through Sept - that gets us through graduation, summer jobs (that have already been lined up) and moving into college

whew!

Wow commuting on the weekends, I did that once, without kids, it is tough.  But you will handle it splendidly. Is your daughter starting college?  East coast or West coast, or somewhere in between? 

I spent a couple of years traveling almost every week, so i have a little bit of an idea of what it will be like, i'm sure it will get kind of old

My daughter will be attending DePaul in Chicago and my son goes to school in St Louis - silly me, I wanted them to stay in the midwest to mininmize travel costs

well, I need to scoot - having dinner with a friend

LOL then LOLer!!! you are right! he is much more sinister! I have a wireless card...do you have a laptop and anyone around that may have wireless hookup that you can scam on use? I also have a modem from before I went highspeed...do you need it?

lyssa-gator - 2008-01-23 8:35 PM yeah, i think we're done with the "trying new things" phase, at least for a while. dh feels TERRIBLE, (hoping i can milk something out of him for it, like another gift card) honestly though, i've had TONS of broken bones over the years (i used to be a gymnast) and this is not real high on the pain scale. mostly exhaling, and well, bending and lifting. other than that I'M FINE!!!

I hope it is not another gift card to VS!  Maybe one to Barnes and Noble, you can read on the long winter nights!

Hey guys, sorry i haven't been around much, I'm on overload. Again between work, business, workout, and school life is beyond busy. I need a drink but I still need to do homework while it eat dinner. Maybe a glass of wine will help to focus on my reading.

I did get a good workout tonight and made sure I ran another 3 miles. Less then 14 to go and I will get it done.

I had the most wonderful time with my girlfriend - we've known each other for about 12 years

it was, well, great!

Hey Beth, A quick note before I head to bed...Glad you had a good time with your girlfriend at dinner. What'd you have?

I just finished my dinner with Kendra and Frank. Was good to meet some BTers. I took them to a mexican restaurant near Stanford. I had my Don Julio Margarita....(for you Hector!!!) and some good eats! They are a hoot! Frank is a lot more talkative in person...hehe. I made him promise to write more when he returned home. We will see! Feel so bad for them...they had a tough time flying out...three changed flights, airlines lost a piece of thier luggage, Frank has been sick the past few days and a cap on one of his teeth fell off and he had to have a root canal done....BLAH! not nice to do to such a nice couple that is trying to have a nice vacation and see their new grandchild! BOO!!! We had a good time though. We talked about possibly doing a summer tri in the Bay area together as they are planning on coming back sometime this summer. Ok...enough about my night...Hope you have a great night....I am beat and heading for the hay....chat with ya tomorrow! Two more days and counting til you move...I hope you are as excited as I am for you!!! ) Sleep well! goodnite!

Okay Blisters, a Flying Fish checking in here.

Julie is a hoot and so is her hubby.  We had such a great time meeting them last night.  If you make it to the bay area and don't look them up then you are missing out on meeting a wonderful couple.  The Flashlight was the absolute best in entertainment.  Go Cali go!

(Now you are all wondering about the flashlight, mmmwwwaaaahhhh!)
