Sounds good girl....especially since I have no time to make dinner tonight. Getting ready to head to the city square to put on our first movie of the summer...."Day After Tomorrow" 2004 movie about Global Warming. Then tomorrow nite we have a Salsa band playing called Mazacote. So in short ~ Allyssa, save some of them scrumptious sounding chkn tacos with homemade salsa and start driving now...you could make it in time for the concert tomorrow evening. I will buy Margaritas after it! |

Glad you are ok! I would be so frightened! Nice brick too. I am tapering. Looks like I'm only swimming and running this week. Coached swim tonight, although I'm 1/2 and 1/2 about just hitting my gym instead. I hate doing drills. It's so boooooring!
You should join USMS! And find a place to swim. Most places have coaches. This is through another Seattle tri group. You pay $20 for the year and then the swim coaches are $5 each Wednesday. It's such a steal. At the most there's only 3 of us in the pool! Right now she's teaching us about pulling through the water and having our strokes in an S shape. Yesterday she counted our strokes. I was 18 strokes. She wants to bring that down to 15. The more I try it the more I noticed the pulling working!
Sorry to hear that! Really I am. You checked the USMS site back to front? I mean there are just loads here. Well, I didn't check it back to front but I did look in VA and they have a ton in VA - just none close to me in NORTHERN VA. I could potentially look into DC or MD but I can tell you I probably wouldn't go there because it would be about an hour drive (w/traffic). |

YAY FOR RUN MOJO!!! -sending some your way tracy- So, you are saying I should run in the rain???  |

My kiddos wanted to go to the pool this afternoon so I took them. I can't do much with a 2-yr old on my arms the whole time but she LOVES putting her hands on my shoulders and then kicking. So, I was doing a modified breast stroke with her on my back for 250 yds. and then the whistle for break blew and I got to swim during "adult swim time" an additional 250 yds. It probably would have been more but every time I came down to the end of the pool where my children were "supposed" to be sitting they weren't really doing so. Oh well, I still got an additional 500 yds in today. That makes for a total of 1750 yds plus 2 miles running with my 9 yr old (see training log). |
