Was up at 5am to volunteer at the Greenvile Tri this morning after staying up watching the Olympics last night. I got in a nice, fast (for me) 3 hour solo ride and have been playing with the newest member of our family. We adopted an almost 2 year old kitty from the animal shelter yesterday. He looks so much like our 16 year old cat, it is scary. We saw him at Petco on Friday and I just couldn't bear to leave him there. We brought our other cat to the store on Saturday to see how they got along. Lionel growled and hissed, but the new kitty immediately yielded and was not aggressive at all. We are debating his name. His tag said MaxiCat, but I'm not having a cat with a feminine hygiene name. The kids and I like Oliver, but hubby does not. I'll keep ya posted on what the final decision is. LOL! I don't blame you for not wanting to keep the name on his tag - LOL! |
