Hi all! Just trying to burn time 'til I can leave desk work. Ho hum ... trying to look busy ...

If you lived on the east coast, you'd be home by now! (Hi Yanti!)

Hee hee, if I lived on the East Coast (or worked anywhere but where I do, or the other stuff I do) I wouldn't be in shorts and a T-shirt either.

1 hour would be LOVELY!!!!  I am not sure what profile I have to teach tomorrow (we have a periodized schedule) but if it happens to be attached I can work with it!  Thank you, Yanti... I'm in one of those "I'm over my playlists" kind of moods .

Whatever you're suggesting.  Just like Yanti said... eclectic.  I play a little bit of everything in my classes.  Except country.  There is no country unless it's the week after the Grammys and then there is ONE country song... and not necessarily the winner.  If they get nominated or win they can be included.  I also refrain from playing jazz or oldies... but trust you me, there are some instructors who do.  This doesn't go over real well among the young soccer mom crowd to whom they teach .  Can you believe I get paid to have discussions with people about music?  I am actually burning a CD for one of the instructors who came to me and said, "I'm old.  I'm a hippie.  I need help."  However, with that said, if you don't love your music, you won't love teaching so it's a fine line.

Edited 'cause I thought of more to say and opted to add it here instead of post pad.  I'm not sure what came over me.  I won't do it again.
