I am in a 'I wish I had a guy to call mine' mood.   It would be nice to have a shoulder to lean on and doze for a while.

I can understand that... but since the last guy I was in a relationship never offered any of that stuff I dont think I can be trusted to pick another one!

esc - 2008-11-03 11:32 PM Well, kids, it's been a blast but I must call it a night.  Got to get home so I can get up early and VOTE!  Yay democracy!  Night all.

Emily, I missed you! I was writing the world's longest race report. Hopefully I'll catch you tomorrow!

mchally - 2008-11-03 11:32 PM I forgot to mention...dave has an awesome M-dot tattoo on his polished, cleanshaven calf.  'fraid I don't have a pic though.

I do love a polished, cleanshaven calf. I watched IMAZ tonight, those guys were HOT! I need to find me a nice triathlon boy once I'm ready to date again.

I will make it a requirement.  I managed to get myself a BF by dozing on a guy's shoulder.  BF part didn't happen until many months later...  dang him-he borrowed my fly rod, but doesn't recall where it is.  I only used it twice.  He was a really nice guy though, just too young.

The right guy must be out there somewhere-I think it is time to start scheduling races for the 2009 season.

the first-which also includes the second...I was 20, he was a HS senior. He looked 27ish if he was sporting facial hair, 14ish when cleanshaven. He was good looking-I heard envious remarks now and then. He was a lot of fun too...at first.   Biking, sailing, four-wheeling, hiking, camping, fishing...then he lost interest in doing anything.  Well...there were a few activities that he was fairly interested in...

I'm not actively searching someone out, but I don't mind perusing the eye candy now and then...I find a guy that has potential, only to discover that he is married. Doh!

I need to work on getting some friends. Period.  There are 2 people that I do things with-occasionally.  I need to get out more, but where does it fit into my schedule?

I'm working on it...hopefully by March I will have some free time w/out feeling guilty because I should be doing something else.

About a year and a half into the relationship, his answer to everything became "I don't know" or "I don't care."  It forced my answer to be "see ya"

So he gets mad, moves to hawaii, gets a job(he had been w/out a job the entire time I dated him) as a commercial diver making $32 dollars an hour, and learns to surf.

I was like 'Wait a minute-why didn't you think of this before?'

But it wouldn't have worked anyway.  He hadn't experienced life yet.

oooooh-I went to a master's workout a while back.  There was only one other swimmer.  A guy, my age, super hot, really nice, gorgeous stroke, etc.  Makes it easier to keep swimming when you have something to keep your eye on...

Very true - unless you want to experience life together...

Im my last relationship it just got ridiculous.. because he wouldnt do stuff with me I would just go out and do it myself which then meant we rarely saw each other and when we did he would sit on the computer and I would be watching tv/cooking dinner or sleeping.

It didnt help we were on different time schedules too with me working 8:30-5:30 ish or later and him on an 11-7 shift... so he was still sleeping when I left in the morning and if I trained I would get home after him or a similar time at best... but at that point id just want to sleep.

If I got home after him he wouldnt start the dinner or anything so Id just get home run around like crazy cooking, showering etc... it wore me down big time!

Hi. Just wanted to say I am amazed how active the Challenges forum is right now!

Ugh. My tummy is upset.

I ran yesterday but I can't tell if my knee is better or not - I *really* lost a bunch of run fitness.

Just make sure you ease back into the running or it might just come back with the same issue.

Are you icing etc after your runs?
