I wouldn't mind a HRM myself but all I'm getting is $15 ITUNES card for V-DAY.  When is your birthday?

not till april 5. but i was thinking ahead. (dh's b-day is april 8-so i always try to give him a heads up a few month early about what to get me )

i can pretty much stay on top of my HR on my own. i mean, not to the exact beat or whatever, but i can tell when i'm over and under my ideal for whatever kind of run i'm doing. so it wasn't so much the HRM that i was wanting, it was the mileage, and the speed and stuff like that. not that i'd OBJECT to a hrm or anything

It would just be nice to have one because it seems that those treadmill HRM are utter tosh!

there's a HRM on my moms stationary bike that i ride sometimes, and i gotta say. i'm WAY too easily distracted by it!! i stare and stare at it, and see if i can get it to go up and down by holding my breath!! LOL not a great idea!!!

Oh nice!!!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAH.  Yeah, that is dangerous.  But incredibly funny. hehe

yay!! so the refurbished nano-the nike + sport kit the tie on shoe pocket thing PLUS shipping and EVERYTHING all together comes to only $183.61 (hooray!!)
the CHEAPEST garmin thing that i was considering was like $340-something!! so yeah, i'm pretty sure dh will go for it!!
