Mmm-hmmm, that's how it always starts. I didn't mean to say you had it yet, just that you were so excited about the idea that your taser and your shoes could match. I suppose if I had a taser (which I would never have), I could match it to my shoes if it came in any of the following styles: hiking boot brown, running shoes dirty-white (why-oh-why are running shoes WHITE???), or mocs brown. Oh wait, the mocs and hiking boots match. Great, two outfits, one taser!
I absolutely hate to shop but I have a little bit of a problem with shoes. I like 'em. All kinds, basics to hott. Kinda funny since I pretty much live in flip flops, running shoes and cycling shoes. So anyway, the store was having this 80% off sale... Seriously!!! What moron decided that most running shoes need to be mainly white even though you will be mostly running outside, where it is dirty. Must have been a man! hmmm I wonder of ALL the running shoes purchased how many ACTUALLY make it outside where tis dirrty for the purpose of running... |

Ohhhhhh Cat... wait until you see the shoes I just bought. Nothing says perfect outfit like matching shoes and taser.
Oh. Wow. I'm not sure which scares me more: the taser, the leopard print taser, or the fact that mila has and is excited about matching her taser and shoes.... I am SO not a girl! Dear Slugger, Look what I found for you today. |

The funny thing is I like snow, but I never get to see it here. I always have to go to a different state. Since I haven't been skiing in two years - no snow. Love the shoes. Just think of how much fun it will be to get them dirty!! Okay, I did get the taser yesterday, but I did one bike and one elliptical session today. So I'm back on track people. Please don't taser the baby, again!! I don't think Gizmo can take it. Just hit the quote button on the top right of that persons post... then yuo get a screen just like the rply screen but it already has all their stuff already in it! |

Great job! I've been wanting to give yoga a try... It's definitely on my "to do" list sometime in the near future. Maybe once I get down to Sydney I can talk Cat into giving it a go with me. I just realized how that last sentence really sounded. Oh well... Yoga - Im the anti yoga person... maybe we can try Pilates? Of course, I don't know if I would buy something that already came in the color "dirt". It's fun getting running shoes dirty. Actually there is such a thing as winter white, it's a staple in everyone's wardrobe here in Texas where winter doesn't go past 40 degrees. I want to see the shoes. Picture please!! Damn, here in NW AR, it gets down to the single digits... I'm jealous - I hate winter and cold weather and snow!No snow in Sydney... EVER... youll be happy here |

Kevin That pretty much sums up my running. It's just a shade faster than my walking, and much more painful.... Did you see the racewalking during the Olympics? Kind of strange looking, but they were certainly moving quickly! The race walkers walk faster than I run!!!!

I looooove Starbucks - we don't have it in Perth so I had it at every available opportunity whilst on a recent overseas holiday. Its probably a good thing its not available here because I'd probably have one every day and stack on the kilos, not to mention become a wreck from all the caffiene *lol* I agree that there are too many though - in London theres one every 500m or so and in Vancouver there are two diagonally opposite eachother on a cross road! |

Master 1548 Perth, Australia | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Slugger - 2008-09-02 7:08 PM Okay, I'll fess up, but first I ask you to please be gentle. I hurt. A lot. But I didn't train. I went backpacking this weekend for the first time in far too many years. It was gloriously wonderful (except for some parts), and I loved it. But I ended up, through a convoluted mess of events, carrying almost 60 pounds. And hiking with an idiot who was far slower than the 4-year-old. So a three hour easy hike in took five hours. With 60 pounds on my back (and, more importantly, on my still-recovering feet). Then I got up the next morning, shouldered the pack, summited, and headed off downhill. I left the rest of the gang at the top so I could make it down in time to sleep. See, I work night shift, so I had to get to bed. I was less than half a mile from home, hurtin' like a demon, eager for my toothbrush, a shower, and my bed (that order), when my cell went off. My best friend, whom I had left at the summit with her 8 yo daughter and the idiot, twisted her ankle badly. I'm on SAR and know wilderness first aid, so I grabbed my SAR gear (insanely reduced to lighten the load as much as possible), almost cried looking at my toothbrush and shower, and headed out. Got up to her, got her down off the mountain (she was almost there, the woman is made out of steel), then had to get her dog and daughter safely to her parents' house and her to the ER. Oh yeah, remember how I work nights? Yeah, I had to be to work early. I went straight from the ER to work. On zero sleep. After backpacking. So I will present myself for appropriate punishment, but please be gentle because I hurt all over. If it is any consolation, I've already done two pushup sessions this morning, and it just turned 5 am.
Wow! I think you've been punished enough already!!! I won't be whipping you. Rest up!!! I hope the girl's ankle is OK. |

I have been too scared to check in for the past two days because I hadn't done anything 'cos I was feeling sick. This morning I knocked off a running session and a core session so now I feel like I can show my face again!!! Today is my 4th wedding anniversary - wow where has all the time gone! We're going out for dinner tonight after work which should be nice. And I still plan to hit the gym tomorrow morning and get another running session done - normally I probably wouldn't but the thought of all those tasers and cattle prods is just too scary *lol* Edited by eurydice79 2008-09-03 11:38 PM |
