Unlocked portajohn WITH hand sanitizer dispenser FTW.

It was right in front of some woods, so I sort of had a plan B.

Day 364 with a nice easy paced 8.2 mile run. Leg/hip was a bit better today, still a little sore but not as bad.

#1 done YEAH!  Just 3 miles but amazed how run fitness seems to evaporate after a break of a couple of weeks (been enjoying resting after a 70.3 then Oly a week after).

Tonight is Yasso’s 800s at running boot camp so 10-12 X 800m with 3min circuits in between. Hopefully that counts as a run!

Day #30- DONE!!!

Was I hesitant about running every single day when I started--YES.  Now that the 30 days are done do I feel that my run fitness is improved--YES!  Will I be running day #31 tomorrow--YES!!

It is probably a bit premature to start thinking of how I will keep up the streak the day after IMLP 2013.  But what comforts me is that if I even come close to running every day until then, the run wont be half as torturous as it would be otherwise.

...and faster than usual.  Lovin' the streak....

FYI this ain't stopping at 30.Laughing

Is that accounting for it being a Leap Year?

Congrats navbtcret , I hope to be in your shoes come next year.

I realize its way off, but I probably am not the only one around these parts that sets challenging long term goals Smile.

Ok I just booked a trip back to the UK - I leave late Christmas Day so can run in the morning (always do on Christmas Day so I can eat more!)

Arrive in the UK lunchtime 26th Dec - no drama for a run.

Leave UK early 4th Jan - have to get up even earlier for a run.  Arrive back in Melbourne 8pm 5th January, that's gonna be a really tough task, but it can be done!  Woohoo!  Bring it on.  Alternative is to run around Abu Dhabi airport on the stop off....er no.

You probably don't want to be.  They'd be pretty worn down by now.

Congrats, navbtcret!

Thanks everyone, when I started this streak last year it was only going to be from Thanksgiving day until the first of the year. I made that and felt good so I decided to shoot for a year and so here I am at age 50 hoping I can keep it going for another 20 years.

Today was day 366 with 10.1 mile run. The hip/leg is feeling a bit better. It is still a little sore but not as bad so it is working it's way out.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

#74....6 miles in a Turkey Trot run.  I ran 52:25.  Negative splits each mile....ran the last two in 8:20 and 8:08, still able to talk to my daughter with no problem.  It's still slow, but it's coming along thanks to the streak. I think I could fairly easily hit 7:15 - 7:30 for 1 mile at this point. Back to 9:30 - 10:00 pace tomorrow

I ran today with 2 of my daughters.  The 12 year old did the 3 mile, her longest yet.....23:42.  88th out of 2000 women....she's hooked. My oldest ran the 3 miler with her and then the 6 miler with me....great times!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
