Unhappy? What to do about it... (Page 3)

I will be attending a happy hour with the finance department of one of the largest privately held firms this afternoon. They were just notified that their jobs will be moving out of state in the next 16 months, and it is my intention to have all of them new jobs long before the 16 months are up. Oh, and they invited me to the happy hour, they see the writing on the wall.

I have another candidate that interviewed on Friday who knows his position will be moved to Chicago next summer. The company has promised him 26 weeks severence, and he will gladly let that go in exchange for some job security today.
