How much milk does your family drink? (Page 3)

When i was growing up, our family of six would go through seven gallons of milk a week.

Now? i'm lucky if i can make it through half a gallon before it goes funky. i've resorted to buying quarts. i use it primarily in baking.

I find the comments here that imply milk is fattening quite interesting, when milk has actually been shown to help promote weight loss, especially in women.

We go through about 4 gallons a week, mostly because my wife and I make our own lattes.
