Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: CASUAL run challenge--july Ok. So I need help with my running goal. I don't want to over do it. Just nice and easy. Right now I think I could manage 4 miles, 3 times a week. So shall we aim for that? 12 miles a week? I could do that. Ok. I shall. Pants. |

Master 2201 Elgin, | Subject: RE: CASUAL run challenge--july I would like to join in on this little run gathering. My marathon training is just beginning for the Oct 18th Denver Marathon. I will hopefully be putting in 17-20 miles/week during July and working up from there. I don't want to step on anybody's toes as far as challenge compitition, but would like having other people keeping me honest. I look forward to being envolved with this fellow group of runners. |

Veteran 232 Rio Rancho, New Mexico | Subject: RE: CASUAL run challenge--july OK....it really is the usual suspects......and here is another......I'm in!!! Stick me down for 60 miles for July. Can I count my run from this morning since I ran the longest I ever have in one go? Gives me a good kick start to the month. Good to see you're back out of your cheerleader role Lynne and thanks Lyssa for stepping up and getting this "casual" challenge going.

Yes Lyssa! Seattle marathon and half marathon! They have one every year.
I'm not sure about hills though as I have no idea about the course...you could post in the Washington section and ask though. I'm sure tons of people here have done it.

Well it's just a thought right now. If not 09 then 10 for sure. There are some other things I have to accomplish 1st within myself (IE not falling DOWN ever AGAIN!) but I would like to at least attempt it. |

I am still trying to get the skill needed just to complete a Sprint Tri. My first is scheduled for Aug 17th. I am looking forward to it, but it scares the heck out of me as well. Swimming isn't a strong suit for me, but I am working on it. Edited by tlnewman30 2008-07-01 10:54 PM |
