MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Rabobank Good morning team. Checking in after a 3 day weekend. Well, mine is really a 5 day, I added a day on at each end. Did not get in a cycling (unless you count the motorcycle) but did get in some hiking. Will be getting on the bike today to get my first stage done. Most of you know me, but for those of you who don't. Kendra, wife of one, mother of two, grandmother of four, caretaker of two cats. Librarian.

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Rabobank esc - 2009-07-04 8:55 PM enders_shadow - 2009-07-04 8:52 PM I'm doing a sprint on 7/19 that I'm ill trained for, because I've been a lazy slug for the last 2 months. I'm also training for the Falmouth Road Race in August and my first real Oly at the end of September (because my other Oly got turned into a du by a hurricane). And then on to a half-mary in November. (I like to run more than I like to ride, which is still more than I like to swim...as Jen & Judi can attest to.) So, anyway - as long as we have that out there... Stage 1 done, 17.7 hilly miles out in horse country. Sounds a lot like my schedule. Sprint on 7/18, Oly in Aug, Oly in Sept, Half-mary in Nov. Also sounds alot like my swim motivation. Managed not to go to the pool for the entire month of June. Hoping I don't sink during my July sprint. Did my first tri of the year in June. Managed to get through the swim pretty fast for me, 12th out of 36 in the age group. Hadn't been in a pool in three months. Just impagine what I could have done if I'd been properly training. |

But hey, I ran 16 miles this morning at 7:19 pace ...... that's gotta count for something!! Nice! I dragged my azz 15 miles at an 8:58 pace and then sat in the backyard eating smores so that certainly counts for something! |

I think that Jen has been known to put together a table or two. If she can't do it, we might be able to sweet talk Dee into it. I'm lousy at putting together the table, even with instructions. |
