IM A NEW WOMAN! its all good. and i met the HIPPEST COUPLE here at Mad Mex today. she recognized the scent of my lotion. i always know the person is gonna be uber hip when they do i shared with them about Josephs tour...apparently she suffers from migraines. theyre going to make a point to make it to one of Josephs events after i told them about his work/that he could help. then they shared with me about a CSA/Organic Farm where i can get a bushel of organic produce 1x a week, May through September for $450. SCHWEEEEEET! AND i was able to share guest passes to the Y wth them. they've been wanting to visit/join. SCORE ONE FOR THE Y. and the husband was a competitive swimmer and looking to get back into it, so i was able to pass on info about the Masters swim team i LOVE these seredipitious encounters. the make my day for sure. stacieb Hey Stacie! I'm starting to think Mad Mex should put you on the payroll. With all the folks you meet there and the extra orders that come as a result, the least they could do is give you a commission! Seriously though, sounds like you had a cool afternoon! TOM. i actually am considering working here first, cuz i just love the people. second, cuz i get free food and (i believe) free alcohol. ive never been a waitress before, i dont even think that i'd like it/be that good at it, but..... i do LOVE their food and their White Sangrias&Margaritas that much. stacieb I've heard of much sillier reasons for working a particular job. I figure if it's a place you'd go anyways and PAY to use, why not get paid to go there? I say if you can swing it, go for it! |

We ended up with a sheet pizza extra after our b-ball banquet and we got to bring it home - pizza it is!!! I feel bad because I only have 2 small gifts for him. My baby is turning 10, I really wanted to get him something nice. What he REALLY wants for his birthday doesn't come out until the 14th, it's a new game for his DS. He knows it isn't out yet, so I might just cut out the picture and put it in his B-Day card or something and we'll get it when it's released. I think that the picture promise is a great idea! X 2 |

I'm thinking we'll have a little more than Hot Pockets for dinner. He did put his cake request in. Yellow cake with white icing. I realize now that my son's food tastes are very boring. |

Hi Kendra. im still weighing out the option myself. we have a GREAT farmers market right up the road, but ive heard w the CSAs you cant beat the variety. the farmers market we have is great and they have most things, but they're the basics. im thinking i will use the CSA as the base of my produce and then still get a few necessary/spur of the moment items at the farmers market up the street. btw. nice having you back in the Village. stacieb |

It's the San Diego International Triathlon on June 27. It's an "almost" Olympic distance race, with a 1000m swim and a 30k bike. Oddly enough, the run is slightly OVER 10k. Oh well... There is a Sprint I'm considering for May, but at least I have this one officially on the calendar. Nothing says "stick to your training plan" like financial obligation!!! aint that the truth TOM. way to go jumping into the deep end of the wonderful world that is TRIATHLON! WHOOP! your gonna be GRAND! stacieb |
