| St. Louis, MO | Subject: RE: RAGBRAI I head out Friday afternoon, get my last day of AC and plumbing in Des Moines that night and then will head up to Le Mars on Saturday AM. YAHOO! Oh, I have so much to do before then. How will it all get done??? I need someone to at least come wash all my bike clothes for me! EDIT: You'll love this! I took my bike in to get checked last week and now I can't get into my big chain ring! I can only go in the middle one or granny. Lovely. Veteran 275 Colorado | Subject: RE: RAGBRAI Great picture Sarah!!! We are heading out on Thursday evening, staying the night in Denver with friends, then heading out bright and early for Iowa. Friday we will be heading over to the eastern side of the state, dropping off the kiddos, then Saturday we hook up with the Flamingo Coach for the trip back across Iowa. By the time Ragbrai is over, I will have crossed the state 4 times, but only once by bike ;-) Can't wait!! Just doesn't seem like it can be this close.....corn fields, Mr. Porkchop, fresh sweet corn..........live music every night, thousands of bikers, spandex for as far as the eye can see........showers in car washes, high schools, swimming pools. Wow does it get any better??  |
