I'm 6'6" 250.  My shoulders barely fit between seats and my legs are all cramped up trying to squeeze them in there, but I'm by no means fat.  If I want to actually FIT in a seat (which apparently many people besides myself are quite concerned with) I already have to pay $20 each way for more legroom (using Jetblue as an example).  I also have to live with the fact that if the plane goes down and there's a mass scramble to get out, no one is going to try lifting my 250# butt out of there.  Also, for all you average people that think there should be a cut and dry height/weight cut-off to start charging more, I'm never getting another thing off the top shelf for any of you jerks ever again.

I think if something like this ever did go through then all your shorties have to pay a tax for driving cars that you need to hoist yourself into if you live in the cold weather where it snows and you can't reach the top to brush the snow off.  Can't reach it, pay up.  Shrimp.

I charged a lady $1 at the grocery store for for getting something off the top shelf for her.  Told her it was to offset cost in my airline travels.
