I'll be journaling and drinking lots of water today! I know exactly how you feel! |

Master 1699 Malvern, PA | Subject: RE: Winning Together -WW and friends of WW 12/2-12/8 Hi girls! Happy Friday... Well I did alright today - but before you throw me a WW party and start throwing confetti around I think it will sound better than it actually is... I weighed in today at 215.8 down from 219.6 on Monday but, like Beth, that Monday number was inflated - I had put on 3-4 pounds last weekend and when that scale said 219.6 I made up my mind that I've got to get serious about this so... obviously this has been an extremely focused week both diet and exercise-wise and the 3.8 pound difference was kind of expected... Next week's weigh-in will be more realistic and will really tell whether I'm focused on this goal... Are we all going to check in here tomorrow and Sunday during the day to make sure we're tracking our meals? Edited by maxmattmick 2007-12-07 9:33 AM |

Veteran 153 Conroe, TX | Subject: RE: Winning Together -WW and friends of WW 12/2-12/8 morning all!!! Ok well I did have a loss at the scale this AM but only a .6!!!!! I was so frustrated!!! BUT A LOSS IS A LOSS. I talked with my leader and he has me changing up my program for a week by going down to 20 points for a daily target but I am supposed to eat all my activity points so really it is the same as my daily target as long as I have a workout of high intesity for at least 45 minutes. SOOOO that being said I think this should jump start my metabolism again or at least it better cause 20 points a day I might just DIE of starvation! LOL the only bad part is that today is a DOR for me so i now have 16 points for the rest of the day!! damn it. LOL As for checking in over the weekend I will certainly try but this weekend is going to be pretty crazy for me. I have lots to do and only two days to do it in, as I am sure most of you are in the same boat as me with the holidays coming up. Greg way to go on the loss! HAVE FRIDAY EVERYONE!! J |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Winning Together -WW and friends of WW 12/2-12/8 I also realized I forgot to answer Greg's question about checking in - I am frequently on the site during the week and weekends - my BT blog has become a regular part of my day - I love logging my workouts and so forth so anyway - I am definitely game for stopping in and checking in on the weekend |

Expert 851 Oceanside, CA | Subject: RE: Winning Together -WW and friends of WW 12/2-12/8 Oh gosh, good luck! I get into a panic when my points drop. LOL As to checking in here on the weekends, probably not so much from me. I spend way too much time sitting in front of a computer Monday - Friday so I try not to do it on the weekends. It's that "fat-bottom-gal" syndrom! LOL I had a non scale victory last night. I bought some clothes and they arrived last night. I was fully expecting only 1 pair of pants to fit, but all but 1 pair fit! Actually that one pair I can get into, but I refuse to go around with a muffin-top, because then I can't make fun other people's muffin tops! LOL |

Veteran 288 Owings, MD | Subject: RE: Winning Together -WW and friends of WW 12/2-12/8 Terri, I have never heard the term "muffin top" -- that is hilarious!!! I don't really check in on weekends often, except to log my workouts. I have a 10K on Sunday, so I might be on afterwards. Just had my WI but couldn't stay for the meeting 'cause work is hectic today. Down 1.4 lbs. to 190.0 even. After a 4 lb. gain over four stressful weeks, it's nice to be down even just a little and get going in the right direction again. Have a great weekend, everyone! Laurie |

Master 1699 Malvern, PA | Subject: RE: Winning Together -WW and friends of WW 12/2-12/8 Congratulations on the NSV! I would assume the "muffintop" is the tightfitting pants making your shirt look like the top of the muffin? Enlighten me.... |

I would assume the "muffintop" is the tightfitting pants making your shirt look like the top of the muffin? Enlighten me.... Welcome! More like your stomach comes out the top of the pants...like a muffin top over your pants. I have had a really busy week! OOT for work, minimal internet access, so I haven't been on. But it looks like the party is jumping this week! I'm pretty proud b/c even w/ being out of town, I'm looking like I'm at a 2 lbs loss so far. Hopefully that holds til tomorrow's WI. I am shocked at how well things are clicking for me. I've lost more the last 3 weeks than I have in ages. I'm becoming a believer in the metabolic stuff + core program. Metacore? LOL. Anyway, new WW program comes out on the 9th. Should be interesting to see what the changes are. |

Expert 851 Oceanside, CA | Subject: RE: Winning Together -WW and friends of WW 12/2-12/8 Yep, it's when your body, usually all the way around, is spilling over the top of your pants. If we're really lucky you'll think you have a great body and will wear a shirt that doesn't hide it from us. Yeah, I'm looking forward to Sunday's meeting to see what the changes are as well. I've heard there's a new cookbook that you can flip the pages around to create meals. Our leader told us all to show up this next week since everyone who attends gets a gift of some sort. Looks like we're doing pretty well in this group. Look at all the losses! Edited by MrsUSMC 2007-12-07 11:12 AM |

That cookbook sounds like a really cool idea too. |

just checkin' in! I entered my meals so far this weekend which is a good thing for me! I know you guys may not be online that much but just me having to post this made me enter my meals! So thanks anyway! Last night went out with the wife and kids to a local Christmas celebration and stopped and had cheesesteaks (a philly thing) and some fries and a beer or two... Needless to say, worked out hard this morning!
Have a great weekend!
