tlnewman30 - 2008-10-18 8:49 PM Maybe I should make it through the Marathon tomorrow first though.

you'll be great!

how are you feeling about it?

Much more confident than last year's marathon, but still a little nervous.  If I don't PR, then something happened that shouldn't have.  Plus I tend to give myself less credit then I deserve.

I had so much wonderful food there I lost track!

Food is my favorite part of vacation!  I always take a vacation from watching my diet, too!

Woo Hoo!  Not only did you get a medal, but you got a PINK medal.  That matches your nails beautifully, by the way.

Dude! You're running a marathon. That's a huge accomplishment in and of itself.  And you've been training very consistently.  You're going to do awesome!

That's one of the reason I don't even try to paint my nails.  I would just have half-done nails all the time.  Chipped and peeling - that would be my color.

I gave up on the toes too.  I always had half-painted nails.

No makeup, no nail polish, short hair, no dresses, no heels, no ruffles, no lace.   I guess I'm just not a girly-girl.

But according to Cat, I look good in lycra.  So I've got that going for me.

I used to always have long beatifully polished fingernails and my toenails were also always done

gave up on my fingernails a few years ago and now they are short and unpolished - my toes, well - I do like to keep them polished (I'm a little behind right now)

I think this might be one more reason to have a cabana boy.  You sit around and make sure your nails stay pretty while he does all the heavy lifting (and brings umbrella drinks).
