Yup! Walking counts (as long as it's 10 minutes or more)! Just log it in your log as "walking" and you'll get a peachy box on your training calendar!

What a great way to start the day. I bet it was beautiful.
I put in a 5-miler, but included 3 x 1 mile intervals. Since doing Z2 training for so long I was quite winded after each mile. And, it doesn't help with plenty of decent hills along the route.
She's quite tanned, but has a lot of peeling, and a nasty sunburn on her right wrist area. She said it may not have been protected, and it swelled up over vacation. Not smart.
