though the ride where i experienced heatstroke/heat exhaustion, it really wasnt all that hot, it was ambient/radiant heat off the newly ladened asphalt that pushed me over the edge.

serendipity - 2009-10-12 11:26 AM Good afternoon Ghoulies!

Feeling very unmotivated today.  Went to bed with an ear ache, woke up with a cough.  Feel like I have a bit of a cold.  Bleh!!!  Cry

Not a run day today.  Going to put my bike on the trainer and spin a bit later.  Trying to decide if it will be before or after my nap.

Sorry to hear you woke up with the crummies. Hope you're back to normal soon!

NOT a fun day, indeed.

one of the WORST feelings, EVER.  and the worst day of my very short-lived athletic career.  im sure its nothing compared to what could have happened, or what can happen.

but...NEVER want to go through that EVER again.

ill wear SPEEDOS before i let that happen again.  LOL

We were in the low 30's this morning so if there was any moisture it would have been snow!

It is too early!

I am off to prep my afternoon snack - chat with you guys tomorrow.  Have a great evening!

I step away from the computer for a couple of hours to do some housework and take a nap and I missed the whole conversation about GOODIES and where your hands should be. Now I'm just sad.

FAVORITE CEREAL PICK - um... yeah... I've never been a fan of cereal. I've always been a pop-tarts kinda girl.

Well had an "optional" run planned today, but decided to do some yard work and take a beach cruise/urban mountain bike ride....very fun to just ride without a goal or purpose...just riding around....good mental break

disturbed275 - 2009-10-12 5:16 AM Should be an interesting week for me.  I'll be working 60-70 hours as opposed to my normal 40 and workouts will have to occur in the morning or else they won't get done.  Gulp!  Wish me luck!

Good luck!!
