So 6 miles in I hear a pop and realize one of the elastic bands holding my aerodrink bottle had snapped. Decided to keep going and about 6 miles later the other one snapped too. I tried to rig something up to keep it in place but couldn't so I drank what I could and pitched the bottle into a ditch. I am going to pick up some rubber bands and go back for it on my ride tomorrow if its still there. I decide to head back. 3 miles later: flat! I stop and change the tube. Turns out my new CO2/hand pump hybrid is a POS. I'm going back to my old pump. Got the tire back on, slightly underinflated and rode the last 9 miles home, into the 25mph wind. Good times! Time for dinner and a beer or 3. I'll be back later to catch up Wow Neal that sounds like one of my rides Get some rest - tomorrow is a new day! Not fun Neal! I've had one of those rides too though minus the waterbottle...plus rain... What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? haha |

Any recommendations about how to deal with cramps? My swim tonight was nothing spectacular 10x50 10x100 1x50 I wanted to do 10 50's after the 100's but my left leg was locked up tight. I started having lots of cramping in my toes, foot, and calf about halfway through the 100's. I drank a bottle of water on the way to the pool, I drink water all day long, and I try not to push off of the walls. Any thoughts? |

Do you think you could still hook me up with one of the pirate ones, please? I am also on the lookout for a new nose clip. I think TYR makes something that looks like a U. I haven't been to anyplace that carries them and I hate to pay more for shipping than it costs for the nose clip. Need a little Ghoulie help here. |
