I went back through Garmin connect to check my runs and today was actually 366 not 367. I had one day that I did doubles so it counted it as two runs. Either way I am past the one year mark but I wanted to double check my numbers.

#5... 6.2miles in wonderfully cool 75 degrees temps, so much more comfortable than the usual heat and humidity.

#33

Still doing the "outdoors only" thing, and today was actually perfect.  I may start hitting the treadmill, not out of fear of weather, but time constraints.  It's easy for me hop on the treadmill after a swim, and not have to deal with late night runs.

I may still run outside if the weather is really bad, just for the fun of it Smile

Day 367 and started my training plan for my upcoming 50 miler in January today with a 30 mile run. All things considered I feel pretty good right now. A little discomfort in my hip/leg area but not bad really, I am hoping that I am about done with this issue. We'll see when I go out for a 10 mile recovery run tomorrow.

Keep up the great work with your running streaks.

Number 30

I never would have believed I could run 30 days straight, how would I have time, what about my injuries that always flare up when I run two days in a row.

Well, there you go.  Where there's a will there's a way.

17.7km done in glorious Melbourne sunshine along a glorious beach track.  Bumped into an good friend Natashia who ran with me for 6km - amazing how time flies with a friend...I gotta get out of this running solo business!

Thanks Left Brain and Muskrat for putting this challenge out there.  Loved it.

Oh - and now I'm aiming for 50....

Day 368 with a 2.3 mile run. Planned 10 but serious stomach issues made me change my plans.

Thanks everyone, when I started this streak last year it was only going to be from Thanksgiving day until the first of the year. I made that and felt good so I decided to shoot for a year and so here I am at age 50 hoping I can keep it going for another 20 years.

Today was day 366 with 10.1 mile run. The hip/leg is feeling a bit better. It is still a little sore but not as bad so it is working it's way out.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Gret job!

# 7 Done - 4.6 miles last night, felt strong and quicker than normal.  Week 1 of changing running style from overstriding to more mid foot land seems to have gone well (apart from a sore arch but was expecting that), I can't wait to see what week 2 will bring!

I ran a 12K race on Sunday after gorging on Turkey, Gravy, Stuffing and beer for 2 days (we celebrated our Turkey day on Friday because I went skiing on Thursday).

I set a PR!!  Ran the 12K in 56:28, finished 9th out of 38 in my age group - 40th out of 204 males (all ages).  I am soooo pleased with this result.  I truly believe I owe a lot of thanks to the streak I finished a while ago.  It got me going on a minimum of 5 runs per week now and my overall running has improved as a result.

Fantastic!  I hope I get some crazy PR out of this too!
