Took the kids to the outdoor pool at lunchtime and spent most of the afternoon there. Had lunch there and just kinda hung out. After that I picked up my wife from work, put the little one down for a nap so she could work from home for the rest of the day. I then slipped out to back to for a swim (at a differnet outdoor pool) and got a solid swim in. Unfortunately it started getting windy and my towel got blown into the pool.....AAARRRGGGGHH. I was sharing my lane with one of the lifeguards who was doing some laps at the end of his shift and he got me a towel from the lost and found when I was finished so at least I was able to get dry.....at least there are a few kind natured folks left in the world! Just kicking back this evening at home with leftovers for dinner....a nice quiet night...Ahhhhh! |
